... and Major Mc?Whatever his name was he was great fun. Mayor McCa - The king of Musical DIY and The Hardest Working Man In Showbusiness. He was fun - he was first on in the other 2 Noisettes gigs I saw on that tour. He also got roped in to operate the strobe light for VEGC at The Metro - the gig with The Screaming Tea Party.

First saw the band in 2005 supporting British Sea Power at the Bierkeller in between a B-Side set and an A-side, and was very impressed. Bought the Tales of Hermit Mark 7" that night, then bought the digital version from iTunes, and practically forgot about them until the next May when I saw them playing with Battle and Mystery Jets in CF22 bar at Cardiff Uni. The rest, as they say, is history...

When they supported The Wedding Present in Glasgow, must have been 2006.... Was something a bit different and unique about them. 'That'll do me' I thought, and it did. A genuinely fine band.

I read an interview on SubCultureMagazine. I just read the name of the band and thought "A band with this name must rock". I was right.

The Prime Club in Köln, in 2006 (?) when the were supporting the Holloways (although it might have been the Rifles, it was a very heavy week!) at the Britmusic week.

Purebred Welsh Talent or A Welsh Pedigree or something. I stole the compilation off the internet for the Frommars track and left the dance with another girl.
The more-English-than-Welsh Welsh band thing seems to work out for me.

I saw the Impossible Sightings over Shelton video somewhere about a year or so ago. I eventually got the album and here we are.
