I'll be there. Love the Bar Academy, not to keen on the downstairs.

Great set yesterday at Islington in front of a decent crowd (well, the ones who didn't bugger off next door to watch 'Good Shoes') Rather embarassingly I thought they were playing in the big hall so I was in there watching Bombay Bicycle Club. About ten past 9 I realised I must be in the wrong place and so went downstairs and found VEGC already a few songs into their set. Emma had a bit of a 'wardrobe malfunction, as you can see from the photos below. Honestly - some people will do ANYTHING to get on the front cover of 'Artrocker Magazine' What actually happened? I didn't even notice for ages as I was behind a pillar. PS the setlist was a bit wonky - ie the band didn't really follow it! I got Louise's. There are loads of songs scribbled on the back as well. Leigh - were you the guy at the front in the new VEGC t-shirt? No that was Mr mcbrazilnuts who sadly had to dash away afterwards to catch his coach back up to Leeds! Hopefully you got home okay?! I was on the side nearest Louise.

- What actually happened? I didn't even notice for ages as I was behind a pillar. Her new frock - a posh black one - was annoying her by the straps falling right down her arms, so she just took it down and wore it as a belt... Some Gentleman eventually rescued her by offering a shirt, but not until after about four songs. Although I am sure that it really took him that long to undo all the buttons, and wasn't just taking loads of photos instead... I have posted a more detailed review here: groups.yahoo.com/group/HighHorse/

Hi There,
Must admit it was me at the front with the VEGC shirt on - no end of Good (or bad) Shoes would've shifted me from my regular (and favourite) position at the front, in the middle.
Got back to Leeds at around 6am but was well worth the journey just for the show as I'm sure those who were there will verify - a classic.
Looking forward to the new album so hope the recording all goes well.
Maybe see you all later in the year for the album launch tour?
Richard.
